Today, my older male cousin came to my home who is my father’s younger sister’s son, he had told us how hard he got married.

I am nearly 23 years old, and he one years older than I am. He told us that he wanted to get married two years ago, but until now he can’t get married, not because he couldn’t find a girl friend, but because he didn’t have a good house, he didn’t have enough money, even his girl friend wish to get married with him, but the girl’s parents stoped their marriage, they want to him to build a good house or get money 40,000 CHD from him, or they won’t agree the marriage.

To be honest, in Chinese village, people often get married quite young, many boys get married younger than I am, because the girls is less than boys, so their parents often want their sons get married early, or if the age is older, it will be very hard to find a good girl to get married.

Oh wow, why get married is so hard to a man,  a  man have to have good house, and good job, and good look, but girls don’t have to do anything during the preparing of marriag, it is so unfair. But it is truth in Chinese village, I am a village young  man, will I be hard to get married, too?
